Bitfinex reports that 60% of Bitcoin's supply has remained unmoved for over a year, indicating a significant portion of the cryptocurrency is being held long-term. Since November 2025, the liquid supply meeting current demand has decreased, with the largest active holding tier being those who have held coins for 1 to 6 months, accounting for 22.1% of the supply. This trend is largely driven by institutional holders, which has contributed to a reduced available supply at current price levels.
