The study, which surveyed 2,000 British adults, also found that 23% would consider withdrawing existing pension funds to invest in digital assets. Notably, nearly one-fifth of respondents aged 25 to 34 have already done so.
The survey highlights security risks, such as hacking and phishing, as the top concerns for potential investors, with 41% citing these issues. Lack of regulation and protection follows at 37%, while volatility is a concern for 30% of respondents. Despite these risks, approximately two-thirds of those surveyed still hold cryptocurrency in some form.
