How to Troubleshoot Deposit and Withdrawals on Phemex

Deposit and withdrawal issues are usually caused by network delays, incorrect blockchain networks, missing memos or tags, security checks, account restrictions, or incomplete transaction details. Check the transaction status, confirm the coin and network, review your Phemex history, and contact Support with the required information if the issue continues.

Step one: Check the transaction status

Open your Deposit & Withdraw History on Phemex and check whether the transaction is pending, successful, failed, under security checking, or waiting for blockchain confirmation.

Tip: For crypto transactions, also check the transaction hash, or TXID, on the relevant blockchain explorer.

Step two: Confirm the coin, network, and address

Make sure the coin, blockchain network, and deposit or withdrawal address are all correct. For example, the sending platform and receiving platform must support the same network for the selected asset.

Tip: Sending funds through the wrong network, to the wrong address, or without a required memo/tag may prevent the funds from being credited automatically.

Step three: Check whether a memo or tag was required

Some assets require a memo, tag, or destination tag in addition to the deposit address. If this information was missing or incorrect, the deposit may not be credited to your account automatically.

Tip: Deposits with a missing or incorrect memo may not be credited, and users should contact support from their registered email with the required transaction details.

Step four: Review security checks and withdrawal restrictions

Crypto withdrawals may go through security checks before processing. If a withdrawal is stuck in Security Checking for more than 20 minutes, or shows Security Check Failed, we recommend that you contact Phemex customer support from your registered email address.

Tip: Certain actions, such as resetting 2FA, changing your password, updating your email, changing withdrawal limits, or some recent purchases, may temporarily affect withdrawals.

Step five: Collect the required support information

If the issue continues, prepare the details Phemex Support needs to investigate. This usually includes your UID, registered email address, coin/token, network, amount, transaction hash or TXID, withdrawal address, and approximate transaction time.

Step six: Contact Phemex Support or use self-service recovery

For deposits that have not arrived, Phemex provides a self-service recovery process for eligible transactions. The transaction generally needs to be deposited into your Phemex account and marked as confirmed or successful on the blockchain.

Tip: Recovery is not guaranteed for every incorrect deposit. Some incorrect or unsupported deposit scenarios may not be fully recoverable.

Common Issues

Issue: My crypto deposit has not arrived. Solution: Check whether the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain. Then confirm that the coin, network, and deposit address match your Phemex deposit instructions. If the deposit is confirmed but not credited, contact Phemex Support with your UID, coin/token, network, amount, and TXID.

Issue: My deposit is stuck in security checking. Solution: Phemex deposits usually undergo a security check before changing to successful status. If the deposit remains in Security Checking beyond 10 minutes, contact Support from the email linked to your Phemex account and provide your UID and TXID.

Issue: I forgot to include a memo or tag. Solution: Do not submit the same deposit again without checking the correct requirements. Contact Support from your registered email and provide the full transaction details. Missing or incorrect memo/tag deposits may require manual review and are not guaranteed to be recovered.

Issue: I used the wrong network for a deposit. Solution: Contact Support with your registered email or UID, TXID, coin/token, network, and a refund address on the correct chain if requested. Recovery depends on the asset, network, and technical feasibility.

Issue: My withdrawal is pending and no TXID is available. Solution: Wait 15–20 minutes and check your withdrawal history again. If no TXID is available after that, contact Phemex Support with your UID and withdrawal details.

Issue: My withdrawal is stuck in security checking or failed the security check. Solution: If the status is Security Check Failed or remains in Security Checking for more than 20 minutes, contact Support from your registered email. Avoid opening multiple tickets for the same issue, as this may slow down handling.

FAQ

Q: Why has my Phemex deposit not arrived yet? A: A deposit may be delayed because the blockchain transaction is still unconfirmed, the wrong network was selected, a memo or tag was missing, or the deposit is under security review. Check the TXID, network, and deposit history before contacting Support.

Q: What should I do if I sent crypto to Phemex using the wrong network? A: Contact Phemex Support from your registered email and provide your UID, TXID, coin/token, amount, network, and any requested refund address. Recovery may not always be possible, so always confirm the network before sending funds.

Q: Why is my withdrawal still pending? A: Withdrawals may remain pending because of security checks, blockchain congestion, missing confirmation steps, temporary restrictions, or account security changes. Check your withdrawal history and contact Support if no TXID appears after 15–20 minutes.

Q: What information should I provide to Phemex Support? A: Provide your UID, registered email address, coin/token, network, amount, TXID or transaction hash, withdrawal or deposit address, and approximate transaction time. Clear transaction details help Support review your case faster.

Q: Can Phemex recover an incorrect deposit? A: Some incorrect deposits may be eligible for self-service recovery or manual review, but recovery is not guaranteed. Eligibility depends on whether the transaction reached a Phemex-controlled address, was confirmed on-chain, and can be technically recovered.
