To achieve precise fund, trading, and risk separation and management, Phemex now supports Lead Trade via Sub-Accounts. You can create sub-accounts on Phemex, transfer funds, apply to lead trade, and start leading trades. The rights and benefits of leading trades through sub-accounts are the same as those of your main account.

Create a Sub-Account

Click the profile icon on the navigation bar to access your Account Center, then go to the Sub-Accounts section.

On this page, click the Add Sub-Accounts button in the upper-right corner to create a new sub-account.
(In most cases, one main account can create up to 20 sub-accounts.)

Once created, click the Transfer button next to the sub-account to open the transfer window.
To lead trade on Phemex, you must transfer at least 100 USDT to the sub-account’s Contract Account.

After the transfer, click the Switch button next to the sub-account to switch into that sub-account.

Alternatively, you can also click Switch Account from the profile panel on the navigation bar to switch or create sub-accounts directly.

Become a Lead Trader and Start Leading Trades

After switching to the sub-account you want to use for lead trading, go to Futures → Copy Trade from the navigation bar to enter the copy trading homepage.
On this page, click Apply to be a Lead Trader to open the application page.

On the application page, click Join Now to become a Lead Trader.

Once approved, go to the Futures Trading page to confirm whether your lead trade status is active.
When you see the confirmation message above the order panel, it indicates that lead trading is now enabled.

FAQs

Q: When a lead trader opens a sub-account, will the invite code appear on their sharing poster?

A: No. The sub-account system does not have separate invitation codes. When a trader shares using a sub-account, the poster will display the invitation code of the main account.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of sub-accounts a lead trader can use?
A: Yes. Each main account can create up to 20 sub-accounts. If you require more, please contact your Business Development (BD) representative.

Q: When leading trades via a sub-account, where are profit shares settled?
A: When using a sub-account for lead trading, profit shares are settled to the Contract Account of that sub-account.
