How to Buy Crypto with Credit/Debit Card?

Credit/Debit Cards represent a secure method of purchasing crypto, especially via Visa and Mastercard.

Notes: 

• Completion of Advanced KYC Identity Verification is mandatory for purchases via Credit/Debit Card.
• Supported fiat currencies： USD/EUR/CHF/CAD/AUD/GBP/JPY, Supported cryptocurrencies: BTC/ETH/USDT/USDC.
• Min. amount per transaction is $100, Max. amount per transaction is $5,000.
• Debit cards are more likely to succeed.
• Card Issuing Region: EEA Countries, Fee Per Transaction: 0.08%
• Card Issuing Region: Non-EEA Countries, Fee Per Transaction: 2.8%
• Card Issuing Region: UK & US， Fee per transaction: 3.5%
• Some banks might charge a Cash Advance Fee on your credit card.

For PC Website

1. Register or make sure you are logged into your Phemex account. On the header menu, hover over ‘Buy Crypto’ and click ‘Credit/Debit Card’.

2.1. Here you can choose to buy crypto with different fiat currencies. Enter the fiat amount you want to spend and the system will automatically display the amount of crypto you can receive.

2.2. If you have not already bound a card, then bind the card first. Enter your credit/debit card details. Please note that you can only pay with credit/debit cards that are under your name. Therefore, the cardholder name must be consistent with your KYC Identity Verification name on Phemex. 

Note: You may be prompted to enter a 3D Secure code to verify the payment. 

3. After binding the card, you can buy crypto with it. Go back to the Buy Crypto home page, enter the amount you want to spend or receive, Click "Buy" and go to Confirm order, You can choose to pay with any card you have bound or add a new card. 

4. Enter your credit/debit card CVV/CV and complete payment. The crypto amount will be deposited to your spot wallet. Click on View Assets to check your balance. 

5. To view your order history, please click on Orders in the upper right-hand corner.

6. You can also view the bounded card information in the card list and unbind the card or bind the new card.

For Phemex App

1. Register or make sure you are logged into your Phemex account. Go to the home page, and click “Buy Crypto”.

Here you can choose to buy crypto with different fiat currencies. Enter the fiat amount you want to spend and the system will automatically display the amount of crypto you can receive.

2. Select the payment channel, choose [Credit/Debit Card], and tap on “Continue”. If you have not yet bound a card, then for security purposes you’ll need to enter card details to first bind a card. Click “Continue”.

3. Enter your billing address and credit/debit card details.  Click "Bind Card".

Note: You may be prompted to enter a 3D Secure code to verify the card. 

4. After you successfully bind a card, you can buy crypto with it. Go back to the Buy Crypto home page, and enter the amount you want to spend or receive. Click “Buy”.After choosing a card you’ve bound, tap on “Continue” to confirm the order information, then click “Confirm”.

You may be prompted to enter a 3D Secure code and complete payment. The crypto amount will be deposited to your spot wallet. Click on “View Assets” to check your balance.

5. To view your order history, click on “Orders” in the upper right-hand corner.

6. By clicking on “Payment Card” in the upper right-hand corner, you can view card information as well as unbind or set the default card.
