How to Buy Crypto with Credit/Debit Card (App)?

Credit/Debit Cards represent a secure method of purchasing crypto, especially via Visa and Mastercard.

Notes: 

  • Completion of KYC Identity Verification is mandatory for purchases via Credit/Debit Card.
  • Supported fiat currencies: 30+ fiat currencies(USD/EUR/CHF/CAD/AUD/GBP......), Supported cryptocurrencies: BTC/USDT and 30+ other coins.
  • Min. amount per transaction is $25, Max. amount per transaction is $5,000.
  • Debit cards are more likely to succeed.
  • Card Issuing Region: EEA Countries, Fee Per Transaction: 0.08%
  • Card Issuing Region: Non-EEA Countries, Fee Per Transaction: 2.8%
  • Card Issuing Region: UK & US, Fee per transaction: 3.5%
  • Some banks might charge a Cash Advance Fee on your credit card.

 

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to buy crypto with Credit/Debit Card:

1. Register or make sure you are logged into your Phemex account. Go to the home page, and click “Buy Crypto” and choose “Credit/Debit Card”.

Here you can choose to buy crypto with different fiat currencies. Enter the fiat amount you want to spend and the system will automatically display the amount of crypto you can receive.

 

2.If you have not already bound a card, then bind the card first. Enter your credit/debit card details. Please note that you can only pay with credit/debit cards that are under your name. Therefore, the cardholder name must be consistent with your KYC Identity Verification name on Phemex. 

Note: You may be prompted to enter a 3D Secure code to verify the payment. 

 

3. After you successfully bind a card, you can buy crypto with it. Confirm order, You can choose to pay with any card you have bound or add a new card. 

Enter credit card details (only CVV/CVC) and complete payment. The crypto amount will be deposited to your spot wallet. Click on View Assets to check your balance. 

  

4. To view your order history, click on Orders in the upper right-hand corner.

5.By clicking on Payment Card in the upper right-hand corner, you can view card information as well as unbind the card.
