Credit/Debit Cards represent a secure method of purchasing crypto, especially via Visa and Mastercard.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to buy crypto with credit/debit card:
- Register or make sure you are logged into your Phemex account.
- On the header menu, hover over ‘Buy Crypto’ and click ‘Credit/Debit Card’.
Notes:
- Completion of KYC Identity Verification is mandatory for purchases via Credit/Debit Card. Additional information such as legend trading questionnaire might be required.
For PC Web
1. Here you can choose to buy crypto with different fiat currencies. Enter the fiat amount you want to spend and the system will automatically display the amount of crypto you can receive.
Notes:
- Debit cards are more likely to succeed.
- Do note that some banks might charge Cash Advance Fee on your Credit card.
- Min. amount per transaction is $100, Max. amount per transaction is $5,000, and Daily Cumulative transaction amount < $10,000.
2. If you have not already bound a card, then for security purposes you need enter card details to first bind the card. Click “Confirm”.
3. Enter your billing address and credit/debit card details. Click “Bind Card”.
Note: You may be prompted to enter a 3D Secure code to verify the card.
4. After binding is completed, you can buy crypto instantly!
5. Go back to the Buy Crypto home page, enter the amount you want to spend or receive, Click “Buy”.
6. Confirm the order. You can choose to pay with any card you have bound or add a new card. Then click “Confirm”.
Note: If you choose to add a new card to buy crypto, you’ll need to enter card details to bind.
7. You may be prompted to enter a 3D Secure code to complete the payment. The crypto amount will be deposited to your spot account. Click on View Assets to check your balance.
8. To view your order history, please click on Orders in the upper right-hand corner.
9. By clicking on Payment Card in the upper right-hand corner, you can view card information as well as unbind.

3. Enter your billing address and credit/debit card details. Click “Bind Card”.

4. After you successfully bind a card, you can buy crypto with it. Go back to the Buy Crypto home page, enter the amount you want to spend or receive. Click “Buy”. After choosing a card you’ve bound , tap on “Continue” to confirm order information, then click “Confirm” .
You may be prompted to enter a 3D Secure code and complete payment. The crypto amount will be deposited to your spot wallet. Click on “View Assets” to check your balance.
5. To view your order history, click on “Orders” in the upper right-hand corner.
