Due to adjustments to our products and services, Phemex will begin the discontinuation process for MemeX on August 20, 2026. To help protect user assets and provide sufficient time for users to manage their holdings, an approximately one-month self-service selling period will be provided.
The schedule is as follows:
MemeX purchases disabled: August 20, 2026, at 04:00 UTC
Self-service selling period: From August 20, 2026, at 04:00 UTC to September 20, 2026, at 04:00 UTC
MemeX sales disabled: September 20, 2026, at 04:00 UTC
MemeX officially discontinued: September 20, 2026, at 04:00 UTC
Processing of remaining assets: Beginning September 20, 2026, at 04:00 UTC
Once the purchase function is disabled, users will no longer be able to purchase Meme coins or increase their MemeX holdings. Users may continue selling their existing holdings during the self-service selling period stated above.
Users with remaining MemeX holdings are strongly encouraged to sell or otherwise manage their assets before September 20, 2026, at 04:00 UTC. Once the sell function is disabled, users will no longer be able to sell these assets manually through MemeX.
For assets that have not been manually handled by the deadline, Phemex will make commercially reasonable efforts to sell the remaining assets and convert the proceeds into USDT, subject to prevailing market liquidity and actual execution conditions. The net USDT proceeds, after applicable transaction costs, will be credited to the user’s Phemex Spot Account. The final amount credited will be based on the actual execution results.
Due to market volatility, liquidity conditions, on-chain status, or technical limitations, the conversion process may involve price fluctuations, slippage, or processing delays. Assets with insufficient liquidity, suspended trading, or technical restrictions may require separate handling. Phemex will provide further information to affected users where necessary.
The discontinuation of MemeX will not affect the normal operation of other Phemex products and services.
