Société Générale-Forge Launches USDCV Stablecoin on Ethereum and Solana

Société Générale-Forge, the crypto arm of the French banking giant, has introduced a new stablecoin, USD CoinVertible (USDCV), pegged to the US dollar. The stablecoin will be available on both the Ethereum and Solana blockchains, with BNY Mellon acting as the custodian for the underlying assets. This launch comes after the successful release of their euro-pegged stablecoin, EUR CoinVertible (EURCV), in April 2023, which targeted institutional clients.
