BlackRock's tokenized money market fund, BUIDL, distributed over $10 million in dividends in May, marking a new monthly record. The Ethereum network facilitated 93.7% of these payouts, amounting to approximately $9.37 million. Since its inception, BUIDL has distributed a total of $43.4 million in dividends and manages $2.91 billion in assets, maintaining its status as the largest tokenized money fund globally. Launched in collaboration with Securitize, BUIDL invests in U.S. Treasuries, cash, and repurchase agreements. The fund issues tokens across seven blockchains, including Ethereum and Solana, reflecting its diversified approach to blockchain integration.
