Davis Commodities, a Nasdaq-listed company from Singapore, has launched a blockchain-driven platform to tokenize agricultural commodities like sugar, rice, and cooking oil. This initiative aims to transform these physical goods into tradable digital assets, utilizing smart contract settlements and on-chain supply chain tracking. The platform also supports tokenized collateral, enabling institutional lenders to pledge these digital commodities. In addition to the tokenization platform, Davis Commodities has introduced a digital asset treasury strategy. As part of a $30 million strategic growth plan, the company will allocate 40% of the funds to Bitcoin reserves, integrating it into their balance sheet as a strategic financial asset.
