How do I place a Perpetual Contract Order?

To place your first order, review all the Prerequisites and follow the Procedures.

Prerequisite:

  • Please read all of the Basic Trading Concepts articles to become familiar with all the terms and concepts used below.

Procedures:

The Phemex Trading Page offers you three types of orders:

Limit Orders

  1. Log in to Phemex.com and click the Contact Trading button.
  2. From the Order Module on the left side of the page, select Limit.
  3. Set your desired Limit Price and contract Quantity.
  4. At the bottom of the module, select either Post-OnlyReduce-OnlyGoodTillCancelImmediateOrCancelFillOrKill, or leave untouched depending on your needs.
  5. Click Buy/Long or Sell/Short to display a confirmation window.
  6. Select a Take Profit or Stop Loss percentage if necessary. If not, then click Confirm.

 

Market Orders

  1. Log in to Phemex.com and click the Contact Trading button.
  2. From the Order Module on the left side of the page, select Market.
  3. Set your desired contract Quantity.
  4. Click Buy/Long or Sell/Short to display a confirmation window.
  5. Select a Take Profit or Stop Loss percentage if necessary. If not, then click Confirm.

 

Conditional Orders

  1. Log in to Phemex.com and click the Contact Trading button.
  2. From the Order Module on the left side of the page, select Conditional.
  3. Check Limit if you want to set a Limit Price, or Market if you want to use the Market Price at the time that your condition triggers.
  4. Select whether you want to trigger by Last Price or Mark Price
  5. If you checked Limit, set your desired Limit Price and contract Quantity. If you checked Market, set your desired contract Quantity.
  6. If you checked Limit, you also have the option to select either Post-OnlyReduce-OnlyGoodTillCancelImmediateOrCancelFillOrKill, or leave untouched depending on your needs. If you checked Market, you have the option to select Close on Trigger or leave untouched depending on your needs.
  7. Click Buy/Long or Sell/Short to display a confirmation window.
  8. Select a Take Profit or Stop Loss percentage if necessary. If not, then click Confirm.
