Spain has appointed Prosegur Crypto to oversee and store seized cryptocurrency assets, enhancing security and compliance with the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. The custody system utilizes military-grade cryptography and offline storage to protect digital evidence. This initiative centralizes asset management for law enforcement and supports the increasing adoption of tokenized assets, which have grown over 224% since 2024, surpassing $300 billion in value.
