Singapore's Jurong Island is setting aside 300 hectares for clean energy and low-carbon projects, including hydrogen facilities and a low-carbon data center park. This initiative, announced by JTC Corporation and the Economic Development Board, aims to reduce emissions from the petrochemical sector and establish the island as a global hub for green technologies. The projects are expected to support up to 700 megawatts of power and cut over 340 kilotonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
