Robinhood Markets Inc. co-founders Vlad Tenev and Baiju Bhatt have joined the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, ranking among the world's 500 richest individuals. This milestone follows a fourfold increase in Robinhood's stock price this year, making it the top performer in the S&P 500. The surge is attributed to President Trump's deregulation of financial markets, boosting stock prices and cryptocurrency trading. Tenev and Bhatt now have personal fortunes of $7.5 billion and $8.8 billion, respectively, each holding about 6% of Robinhood's shares and controlling the board with super-voting stock. Bhatt plans to step down as an executive in 2024 but will remain on the board.
