Stablecoin project Plasma is set to increase its deposit limit by $500 million, bringing the total to $1 billion. The new limit will be available starting at 9:00 a.m. Beijing time. Deposits will generate income through Aave and Maker using Vedas-audited vault contracts, with assets converting to USDT after the lock-up period. Plasma has previously secured strategic investment from Peter Thiel's Founders Fund and completed $24 million in financing earlier this year, led by Framework Ventures and supported by Bitfinex, Peter Thiel, and Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino.
