OpenMind, a robotics software company, has partnered with Robostore, the largest U.S. distributor of Unitree, to introduce the first comprehensive humanoid robot education course. Launched on November 10, the course is based on OpenMind's OM1 operating system and features a modular, video-based curriculum. It covers key areas such as motion, perception, coordination, and interaction, allowing learners to program and deploy humanoid robots in real-world settings. OpenMind CEO Jan Liphardt emphasized the need for educational support in the rapidly advancing field of humanoid robotics, highlighting the course's focus on hands-on hardware experimentation. Robostore CEO Teddy Hagerty noted that the collaboration merges advanced hardware with a robust educational framework, facilitating a new approach to embodied intelligence learning. The course will be available this month through Robostore's network of academic partners, including prestigious institutions like Harvard, MIT, and Stanford.
