Badiss Mohamed Amide Bajjou, the alleged mastermind behind a series of kidnappings targeting French cryptocurrency figures, has been arrested in Morocco. French Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin confirmed the arrest, noting that Bajjou was wanted by Interpol for kidnapping, extortion, and money laundering. Investigations revealed that Bajjou orchestrated a criminal gang by recruiting young individuals online, leading to several violent incidents, including the kidnapping and mutilation of Ledger co-founder David Balland and an attempted kidnapping of the daughter of Paymium's CEO.
