This license allows NewBX to conduct regulated activities under Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 7 (providing automated trading services). Additionally, NewBX is authorized under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance to operate a virtual asset trading platform. With this approval, the total number of licensed virtual asset trading platforms in Hong Kong has reached 13, with six more applications currently under review.
