John D'Agostino, Head of Institutional Strategy at Coinbase, has indicated that institutional investors are viewing Bitcoin's recent price drop as a buying opportunity rather than a cause for concern. Despite Bitcoin falling below $60,000, D'Agostino noted that family offices, government funds, and sovereign wealth funds are actively accumulating the cryptocurrency, attracted by the lower prices. D'Agostino highlighted that Bitcoin ETFs maintain approximately $100 billion in exposure, and retail investor interest has only decreased by about 15%, suggesting stability in the market. He emphasized that large entities holding Bitcoin with leverage continue to secure capital for purchases, with no significant institutions facing leverage or liquidation risks.
