Bitcoin's annualized volatility has decreased to approximately 40% in the current cycle, down from 60% in the previous cycle and 80% in the one before that, according to Jim Ferraioli, Head of Crypto Research at Schwab. Speaking at the DACFP event, Ferraioli highlighted the trend of diminishing volatility in Bitcoin over successive cycles. He noted that amid the strong performance of AI and U.S. stock markets, Bitcoin has remained relatively "calmer." Additionally, Ferraioli disclosed that about 20% of assets in spot Bitcoin ETFs are from Schwab clients.
