Bitcoin's volatility has decreased significantly over recent cycles, according to Jim Ferraioli, Schwab's Director of Crypto Research. Speaking at the DACFP event alongside Ric Edelman, Ferraioli noted that Bitcoin is now a 40 volatility asset, compared to 60 in the previous cycle and 80 before that. He attributed this decline to strong momentum in other sectors such as AI and stocks. Ferraioli also revealed that Schwab clients account for 20% of the assets in spot Bitcoin ETFs, highlighting the firm's significant involvement in the cryptocurrency market despite the recent bear market conditions.
