The aPriori airdrop on October 23 is under scrutiny following allegations of a large-scale Sybil attack. On-chain analysis reveals that approximately 80% of the airdropped tokens on the BNB chain were claimed by 5,800 interconnected wallets. These wallets, which were pre-funded with BNB between October 19 and 20, show signs of coordinated manipulation, as they were funded by 13 source wallets and had no transaction history prior to acquiring Monad testnet tokens.
aPriori, supported by YZi Labs and HashKey Capital, has raised $30 million, with its APR token currently valued at $93 million, a 60% decline from its peak. Despite the serious allegations, neither aPriori's founder Ray Song nor its investors have issued any public statements regarding the incident.
