Aptos has been selected as a leading blockchain platform for the Wyoming Stable Token (WYST) project, achieving the highest selection score alongside Solana. The WYST stablecoin, backed by fiat currency, marks the first issuance by a US state government. It will utilize LayerZero for cross-chain deployment, enhancing multi-chain interoperability. Aptos supports three US dollar stablecoins, with a monthly transaction volume exceeding $30 billion, offering sub-second finality and near-zero transaction costs.
